Fresh Start Checking offers the convenience of having a checking account and debit card with a low monthly service fee of $9.95 or $6.95 with direct deposit.. It also allows for online purchases, and makes direct deposit payroll available while helping re-establish your banking history.
Fresh Start Basic Checking
Like Fresh Start Checking, this account is for individuals who have had banking struggles in the past. It is strictly a Debit/ATM card account with a low monthly service fee of $9.95 or $6.95 with direct deposit.

Make the most of your money - the more money you deposit into this account, the higher your interest rate grows
- Minimum deposit to open account is $1,000
- Minimum balance of $5,000 avoids monthly service fee
- Three checks or a total of six pre-authorized withdrawals / transfers per statement period, including checks without a charge
Overdraft
Protection
- When your
checking account is overdrawn, we will automatically transfer
funds to your checking account from a savings, Access
Plus or another checking account.
- A fee of
$10.00 per transfer will be charged.
- A notice
will be sent notifying you of the transfer.
