Lafayette Savings Bank to host community-wide
Shred Day to combat identity theft.
Lafayette, IN. – May 17, 2010 – Randolph F. Williams, President/CEO, is pleased to announce that Lafayette Savings Bank will be hosting its third annual, community-wide shred day of documents, bills, etc., on Saturday, May 22, 2010, 1:00 – 3:00 pm, at Lafayette Savings Bank’s State Road 38 Branch in Lafayette.
“This service is to help curb identity theft in our community”, states David Huhnke, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations. “Identity theft is still on the rise and this community-wide shred day is a service from your hometown bank for people to stop by and get their personal and business documents shredded at no cost.”
Documents (a maximum of 10 boxes per person) that may reveal important account information, social security numbers, bank accounts, tax documents, etc, can be dropped off and shredded by Cintas. Refreshments will be served while you wait and donations to Natalie’s Second Chance Dog Shelter of Lafayette will be accepted.
“Natalie’s Second Chance Dog Shelter is a 501(c)3, non-profit, no kill dog shelter located in Lafayette, Indiana. They provide a temporary home for dogs until new, loving homes can be found.
