Lafayette Savings Bank seeks a full-time PC Service and Support person who will assist in providing support for users hardware and software issues, assist with the installation and maintenance of hardware and software, as well as serving as a backup for other IT department functions. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm with 1/2 hour lunch.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of MS Office applications and the Internet
• 6+ months customer service experience
• Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Strong active listening and speaking skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while working independently to resolve IT issues
• Previous PC Support or Help Desk experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Field and respond to IT help desk calls; troubleshoot computer hardware and software problems of users
• Assist in creation and maintenance of help desk knowledgebase
• Ensure daily backups and rotate media off-site
• Configure and install new hardware
• Complete monthly maintenance checklist
• Create and maintain users accounts/setup for new and termed employees
