Lafayette Savings Bank seeks a full-time Customer Service Associate to ensure the efficient handling of customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous cash handling and retail experience
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Basic knowledge of keyboard and PC skills

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Processing both business and individual banking transactions
  • Managing a cash fund
  • Cross-selling bank services

Hours are Monday-Friday full-time with a minimum of 2 Saturdays in a four week time frame.

Lafayette Savings Bank seeks a full-time Financial Advisor who will be responsible for providing financial advice to all types of clients seeking solutions for their investment and financial planning needs.

Qualifications

  • Series 7, 63 and 65 (or Series 7 and 66) licenses and IN Life and Health License is required, each in good standing.
  • Three+ years of related work experience with a proven, profitable track record.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills and ability to present ideas in a professional, business-friendly manner.
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service orientation.
  • Computer literacy required, including spreadsheet and word processing applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business, retain existing relationships, and promote and refer other financial services offered by LSB when appropriate.
  • Ensure all functions are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, agreements, and company policies.
  • Initiate and maintain contacts for developing and expanding a customer base for the sales of the investment products to include mutual funds, securities, annuities, and insurance products.
  • Provide clients with asset management services and financial planning services.
  • Participate in community events to include public speaking engagements and conducting educational seminars.
  • Maintain mailing lists and participate in developing external marketing plans and activities to general employee referrals.
  • Prepare and file reports as required by outside agencies and the bank and/or broker dealer. Maintain internal customer records as required by regulatory authorities and company policy.
  • Maintain knowledge of current investment trends and any new programs.

Lafayette Savings Bank seeks a full-time ABM who will be responsible for assisting the branch manager in the efficient, effective management of the branch-banking center, and ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed. Also responsible for assisting in maintaining operations, demonstrating effective sales and service techniques, promoting a profitable sales environment, projecting a positive branch image, and coaching and developing staff.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to positively adapt to change and to provide positive leadership.
  • 1-3 years banking experience.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient teller and CSR capabilities.
  • Demonstrated PC experience (MS Office)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervision of branch staff.
  • Assist in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and provide support for branch staff.
  • Support the delivery of excellent service and establish a customer friendly atmosphere.
  • Establish and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Participate in business development efforts to promote bank products and services.
  • Supervise all facets of the branch in the manager’s absence.
